How to double your annual leave in 2018

If you are looking for a way to stretch your precious days of annual leave a bit further next year then you are in luck.

There is a way you can make your annual leave allowance stretch further in 2018 - if you can get in there first before your colleagues!

For those looking to sneakily secure extra time off work this year then these are the dates you need to make sure you have booked off.

The most critical date to book off for the ultimate holiday extension this year is around Christmas time.

Because of the days before Christmas and New Year in 2018 falling on weekends, picking just three well-selected days off can get you 10 days away from the office.

Booking December 23 to January 1 off will give you a mega festive break.

Then when it comes to the Easter holidays if you take the week starting the Monday, March 26 off and the week after you will be away from work for 16 whole days despite only sacrificing eight days.

There are similar tricks you can pull around the August Bank Holiday where just four days of annual leave can get you nine days off.

Request leave from August 25 until September 2 and treat yourself to an end of summer break.

In total if you are entitled to 25 days of annual leave and follow all these tricks from instantoffices.com you can get 50 days away from work.

If you are fortunate enough to have 29 days of annual leave you can stretch this even further and actually land yourself a whole 56 days off.
