Cloth Caps To Salary Caps

On 29 March 1996, Super League launched.

It was a launch which changed the sport of Rugby League forever as it moved from being a winter sport to a summer sport and saw every club turn full time professional.

Our special programme 'Cloth Caps To Salary Caps' looks at how the change came about, what it was like for the players and considers what the implications have been for the sport.

Featuring contributions from Kris Radlinski, Kieron Cunningham, Martin Offiah, Tommy Martyn, Maurice Lindsay and Eddie Hemmings.
